The history of Bel-Air Shells. Camper shellsWere Open 7-Day's a Week.  Mon-Fri:9am-6pm.  Sat:9am-5pm.  Sun:11am-4pm. Bel-Air Shells 1971 to 2010 and Beyond. In 1971,  our grandfather [Raymond Taliaferro] opened for business as Ray's Campers.  Located just 1 mile south of Disneyland  the primary business was renting motorhomes,  selling campers and camper shells as well as minor repairs on such.  In 1975,  he moved his business to Garden Grove Blvd just 1 mile west of Magnolia St.  Then in 1980,  he purchased a second business Bel-Air Shells which was also located on Garden grove Blvd just 1/2 mile west of Brookhurst St.  In 1982,  our parents became the managers and assistant managers,  then subsequently purchased it from Ray in 1983.  We watched our parents [Wayne & Evon] do an extraordinary job until 1989,  at which time our father became ill and had to retire.  At that time Dave and I [my name is Ron] were quick to step in and help run the business so that our parents would have a steady income during our fathers illness [cancer].  Dave and I subsequently purchased Bel-Air Shells so that our parents could retire and enjoy life.  Since then [1989],  we have been driven to make Bel-Air Shells known for it's quality,  it's very reasonable prices,  and our very friendly staff;  we have succeeded.  On a daily basis we monitor our prices and guarantee that they will be the absolute best in town.  Whether you are a awesome shopper or you just stop by without shopping first you will find that you were given a very good price at Bel-Air Shells on anything that we sell.  This is only accomplished by the special deals that we make with our manufactures and by keeping our overhead down.  Flash and glitter cost money and we do not feel that our customers should have to pay for such waste.  With all that being said I hope that our web site has been helpful to you in your search for a Camper Shell or Tonneau Cover.
